"The Fender Book" (Updated Edition)

It will be sent to FDP Jams BY REQUEST from the guy running the LAST jam to the guy hosting the NEXT, and so on. All FDP JAM players are asked to peruse and sign THE BOOK.

We will use this thread to keep track of THE BOOK.
"THE BOOK" in a Topic Heading Search with "IPLAYLOUD" under "FDP Jams, Events, and Gigs" will find this thread.
After the VA Jam (Feb) is a the Wichita Jam (APR). I will ask for it back after that one before I go to the Dallas Show. If anyone is going to a NAMM show, it may be a chance to really rack in the names...even some "famous" Fender players. (REAL Celebs are welcome to sign...start a special page for them!).

If THE BOOK ever ends up on Ebay, said FDP member will have his guitars thrown into a Wood Chipper.
It will be filmed and put on YouTube.

Anyway to incorporate a group photo for each jam? Maybe some youtube video links of any recorded/filmed songs also. We had several vids posted on youtube by catsize from the Jersey Shore Jam.

It would be nice to go back over the years and see if our playing has improved,,,,,,,,or not

Take a picture, send to the next guy to have the Book, and it can be stapled to a page inside. who cares if it covers a guitar? We all know what a Strat looks like.

This thread may be the best for links.

What happens when there's two jams at the same time? There's a Texas jam coming up, but there is also a Pennsylvania jam the same day.

Is it too late to ask for the book first?

I think Texican is going to try to make both the Wichita jam *and* the Guitar Show, maybe he can hand deliver it. I'm not positive about that, but he did mention something about it.

Along this vein, should'nt there be one song that has to be played at every FDP jam? Something to kind of sum it all up. The uber trick thing would be to record each jam's live version and post it up. Perhaps the selection would be voted on via the forum.
Slap me if I'm stupid here.

My first FDP Jam in Maryland ended with a 9 guitar version of Freebird. I think it was the traditional finale at previous jams.

My Twin was on 6 with a TS9 engaged. I couldn't hear myself. That was fun. 8^)
