It both looks and sounds sweet. I got myself a pair of those CS 60s pups because of all the good press they are getting. I got the neck and middle pups and have matched them with my extra Custom 54 bridge pup.

I'll bet Sunburst looks good on you too. I was afraid you might have gotten another black Strat. It's like me and Vintage White... For awhile there that's all I had.

Yea its nice man - So you got some CS60's did you... seems like it would match decently with the 54 bridge -
LOL no I think my one black strat is enough. I love alot of different colors, and as I sold my sunburst AM Series, I figured a nice 60 sunburst would be best. Nice yellow :-D

Achase4u Great sounding clips and the Strat is a beauty! Is the fretboard Brazilian Rosewood slab? You mentioned CS 60s. Can tose be bought by themseleves? That's exactly what I want!!! :-)

SMark, thanks! Are they like the '61 Strat pickups on Guitar World's Andy Aledort' "Axis Bold As Love" DVD
s '61 Strat? I mean would those similar steely sounding?
Also, what keywords did you type in to find them? Are you talking about the ones Stratosphere sells in their chop shop from the MIM reissues or real CS 60s taken from a US Made 60s Strat?

hey yes9310 - Its african rosewood actually, Im almost 100%. Unless someone takes apart the guitar, the CS60's arent sold seperately. special wound just for that CS 60 guitar.

Ah cool! That's what had me a little confused from what SMark said about ebay. I think he might have meant those CS 60s RI MIMs like came in my Classic '70s MIM Strat. SMark? Although, I did pick up a set of aged CS 50's from a '56 Relic Strat that the guy swapped out for some Chubtone '69s and I got those for $112! http://areyouexperienced.net/fender_custom_50s_pickups.htm

Sorry, I was in a bit of a hurry when I posted...
As Achase4u posted, since they are not available for purchase outside of a CS 60 Strat, the only place you really can find them is on eBay. A set of three can run as high as $200+ but if you keep your eye on eBay they will go for cheap occasionally. I got my neck & middle CS 60 pups for $60, and I have seen full sets go for as low as $120. But I am always watching eBay for pickups (BIG surprise!). I have a number of custom searches that get emailed to me every day. The one that nets me the most auctions is simply "Fender Custom Shop Pickups" but I have others too. Especially a couple with the word "Abby" in them.

Ah! Good keyword phrase! I tried searching with "Fender 6 pickup" to give me anything with a 6 in front but doesn't work.
