Yesterday I took a trip out of town and checked a pawnshop for guitars. I found a nice sunburst M-75 with Goldtones. I had been on the look out for one at a good price for five years. The last one got sol,d a day before I had accumulated the $$.

I would have jumped on this one but I hadc just picked up a Tele a few days earlier--blew my equipment budget for June.

I'm hoping it doesn't sell over the next two weeks.

Well, I picked up the M-75 today. Two tone burst. No case and speed knobs replacing the DeArmond knobs.

Still, all in all, a nice guitar in good shape.

I'm looking forward to getting a little free time to fool around with it

Twangmeister, There are Dearmond knobs listed on Ebay as of this postingin case you want to return the guitar to original appearance.

I have a 'M- 77. What's the difference between the M-75 and the M-77?

I had a DeArmond M-75 in the 90s. Great tone machine, but it weighed about 12 pounds.

Have you guys seen the new Guild

M-75 Aristocrat? True hollowbody, Les Paul sized, five pounds.

I have a M-75 and i love it's sound. It's really well-made, too. I also have a JetStar, a Starfire Special. and an M-65. All of them kick ass.
