Jag needs all black hardware/bridge/switch and the Strat jack cup removed and have it sidemount for input like a LP.
Then I'd consider it.

Backorder date was changed from yesterday to 10/20. I guess we will see, they usually change the backorder dates a million times before actually shipping. That's why I typically don't like to backorder.
I'm impatient.

Nice, I've been tempted by a LP DC-type but haven't figured out where to put it yet.
Brighter color the better at this point, I have decided that they sound meaner.

I don't know what they were thinking vs the $500 MIA Gibson Melody Maker variants out (inc. the V and Explorer etc), and all the Squier stuff.
I predict these may be very short lived.

So has anyone here played the Jag with the P90's? I am considering one of these, but as pointed out by reverendrob above, I am loving $500'ish Melody Makers. I may hold on to the cash a little longer and pick up a Melody Maker Explorer and drop a PAF'ish pup in it. But if I get some good feedback on the MP Jag I will go that route.
