Actually did the deal a couple of weeks ago, surprised it sat on CraigsList so long. It was actually cheaper than a new GAD.
Black, Corona built. The best 12 I've ever played, and more comfortable than I expected a jumbo to be.
Anyone else have one? Any string preferences to pass along? I've been keeping it tuned 1 step down.

I have one also wolf papa. I believe mine is a 1987. When I got her I took her in for a new bone nut. My tech used what he had which were Martins. I hate to change strings so I have a fresh set of Elixers waiting in the wings.
Enjoy your GUILD!
Peace,
Jake

Nice guitar! I sure enjoy mine.
I'm using Elixirs on mine currently as well. Often play it in a tuning I've been using to compensate for a finger issue: CGDGBE. The jumbo body is a bit of struggle, but that size and the arched maple back really take to lowered tunings.

Ditto here. Enjoy mine very much. I find it very smooth and easy to play. I have had two other 12-strings. This one beats the other two, hands down.
It was a gift from my wife. I was debating whether to buy it or not. I asked her to talk me out of it. She came home from work that day and said, “I have decided to buy it for you.” Not a special occasion, not a holiday... just a gift.

I have one (natural top) and love it.
I use D'Addario EJ38 Phosphor Bronze and keep it tuned down a step also.

Guild hasn't produced the JF30-12 since Corona. I believe the last one we had went to the west coast.
Can't beat a Guild !2 string.
I play an F-412 Cabernet strung with Phosphor Bronze
