I'd get one of the Strat's - they're both rare colors in lefty: after the first year or two, Fender only made the AV '57 and AV '62 lefty Strats in sunburst (2-tone on the '57 and 3-tone on the '62).
The gibby is a great guitar, but new, the lefty costs USD $200 more than the righty version - this is just a rip-off. I'd wait and find one of those used someday.

I agree with Reverend Mikey, get one of the Strats. If it were up to me, I'd choose the Custom Shop Inca Silver over an American Vintage Mary Kaye.
Regarding the Les Paul 60s Tribute, I've already have seen used ones being advertised on a couple of other forums.

You CANNOT go wrong with a P90 Goldtop. But you can get one from Rondo for a lot less and they're excellent guitars.

I agree with Texican - get the Custom Shop Inca Silver if you can swing it.

Looking at your profile, it appears you already have...what?...5 or 6 Strats?
Still, inca is a great color.

I see you currently have nothing with Filtertrons. I suggest a Gretsch!

hey Peegoo,
Yeah your right will have to rectify that
But,
i ended up getting the P90 goldtop special at a good price now just need some time to bond with it (Damm Work)
btw, even with the $200 shipping it was still a steal.
first the 60's tribute are not available in Australia and secondly if they were they be around the $2000 mark.
But im getting a Gretsch it's only a matter of when and which one Duo Jet or White Penguin?
