How did I not notice this right away? My '50 Pro, not a re-tweed, has the tweed running the wrong way, from right upper corner to left lower, in all but the bottom and lower back panel. See link in my other Pro topic. Has anyone ever seen something like this before? Is this the amp covered after the Christmas party?

No need to freak out. This goof occurred more than once at the factory. Chalk it up to trainees.
The tone is still the same =o)

X2 on it being post-Christmas party. I've seen this before on well beaten tweeds that couldn't have been re-covers.
That is one cool Pro!

Play it only in front of a mirror and it'll look perfect ;~)

Being left-handed, it's the perfect amp for me. I could do a mirror-image utube video and appear to be right-handed.

"Ron's Vintage" has a '49 Pro on their web site with the diagonal tweed oriented like mine, upper right to lower left. The back panel tweed is going the other "correct" direction, again, like mine. Still on the hunt for a piece of grill cloth to cover the upper panel...gotta be a suitcase big enough around somewhere.
