I have a G&L S 500, in transparent blue, ash body. mint, w/ohsc. barely played.what do you guys think this is worth. I dont hardly play it. I am not trying to sell it here. but when I go to the philly guitar show this summer ,what do you think I should ask. thanks i65 P.S I have had the guitar approx. 14 years. but mint!

The market for used gear sucks right now, unless you have something with the right name on the headstock...
Does it have the vintage tinted neck? That's an upcharge.
w/o the vintage tint neck, I'd say maybe $650-800, but w/vt neck, it might go for more...but then again, I haven't been watching these on e-bay, I could be way off. Do you see any used ones for sale at any of the lefty dealers online?
...what's the neck profile and nut width on it?
...my light is on, just out of curiosity...

I've got the same guitar, 2000 lefty strung right, 3 color sunburst, ash body, biggest neck they offered at 1 9/16th width, maple with the gun-metal tint, a hardtail. Had it made, tweed case: $1250 was the total which I thought was a fair price for a one off. I wouldn't expect to get much more than 8 or 900.00, even less in a forced sale.

mine does not have the tinted neck, but does have an ebony fret board ,& sperzel locking tuners, pearloid pickguard. Its a sight to behold. i65
