One.
Midnight blue 1999 Standard/rosewood and a darker tint grain maple neck w/some birdseye and flaming.
Rear plasitc plate long ago removed and additional bridge tension springs installed for a full five. Wood block jammed in back as well for complete and total tuning stability (obviously no trem use).
Pick guard and other front facing plastic parts are considerably yellowed from playing in smoke filled clubs. As well the guitar has been left out in the sun for hours on end during the summers throughout a little more than the past decade...

I've reduced my collection by one, may sell one today and have a third for sale.
Simply too many Strats and overlap with capability. If they're not getting enough love, might as well let them go to someone who will provide for their needs. Thought I would never sell any, but there you go.
Will soon be down to 14.
Edit: Oh....and the proceeds from the sale will offset the purchase of a couple of non-Fender guitars. :-)

Hello all,
Looks like we are counting Squiers and project Strats. In that case I don't know exactly. I have not counted in a few years. My best gutss is about 42. Oldest stock Stratocaster I have these days is my 1979. The newest (most recently produced) is probably the 2004 Custom Shop 60 NOS.
The 4 I play most are a 1983, 1985 and 1986 Fender AVRI 57 (one Fullerton and two Corona) and a parts-caster I assembled to suit my tastes.
Talk to you later,
Norm

I find 3 to be the magic number. If I stumble across a must-have, that means one of the current harem has to go.
