For your listening and critiquing pleasure. Some of you may have heard some of these tracks as singles. These are all remastered etc.

Thanks in advance for the listen and share if you like!

Nick,

I remember when you posted this a while back. Man, I just love the quality of the glassiness of the reverb. Can you talk about reverb a little, how you achieved it?

Thanks everyone, and David thanks for fixing the link!

The guitars on Sao Gravity Assist Maneuver are running through a Catalinbread Montavillian delay (my favorite delay ever) into an Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master Delay/Reverb. I love the sound of those two pedals together so much I also ran the synth, the rhodes, the vocals and my whistling through it. Probably too much, but I got carried away.

Thanks again for the listen and the comments.

I've listened to this CD many times through, now. It's totally great! I've "gotten to know it" at this point. Really cool album. Love the production work but its not overdone or "mainstream". Good tunes. You come up with really fantastic beats. I need to learn how to do some of that in software. I still dont know how to do midi lol.

Thanks Aaron! Your fabulous Rumpelstiltskin White Rope tele pickups on the first track--one of the best sounds I have in my arsenal!

No MIDI beats by the way. Either it's live drums, loops or combination of both. I typically don't use mixed loops though, but rather loops of individual drums (kick, snare etc.).

I've done MIDI drum programming commercially but I find it tedious as hell on my own stuff.

Very nice, Nick!

Very ambient, very textural and very good!

The FDP really does attract some unique and talented people to its ranks. Gotta love this place!
