I'm starting the planning for this years Holiday Jam at casa H101.

I usually have this 4th of July weekend but with the 4th on a Wednesday I had to choose before or after. The 5th & 6th are furlow days for me so we are doing it on the 7th.

Who's in this year?

A few Details.

We will have a host band. Guitar X2, Bass, Drums, maybe keys. Full PA w/monitors.

I typically make some food, burgers, brats & have a big cooler full of beer & soda. Pool will be open to cool off. Family friendly venue. Spouses & SOs welcome.

We play Blues, Classic Rock, Country and anything else you can pull off.

I kick it off about noon and we play electrically 'till dark. Acousically 'till it's over. Last year that was the wee hours of the following day.

Where exactly is this going to be? I'm in San Diego and would love to attend if it's within my travel range. Sounds like it's not too far away. I look forward to hearing back on this. Thanks.

We will be Jamming in Wildomar, CA.

Wildomar is located on I-15 between Murietta and Lake Elsinore. About 50 min. to 1 hour north of San Diego. 10 min north of Temecula.

Wildomar is about 1 1/2 hr south east from central Los Angeles if you drive in light traffic.

Yeah, but I won't be coming at 3am! :)

Sounds fun. Will seriously consider it!

Just a bounce for the hell of it.

I've been to this one the last two or three years, and I'll just say that it has always been worth the effort.

Hammond101 puts up a great stage with every possible piece of gear imaginable, and the guest bands have been spectacular.

I'll be there early.

Ok FDPers, we are on for sure for the 7th of July so shoot me an email of you plan to attend.

As in the past we will get going about noon on the 7th. I'll have the Weber(s) fired up later in the day for some burgers, brats & sausage. I typically have some adult beverages on hand with soda chips and some salads.

Musically we will cover anything you guys want to do. Lots of local players attend so there will be a good mix of genre, talent and instrumentation.

C'ya soon,

H101

Afternoon temps will be in the low '90s this year so it will be considerably cooler than the 108 we had at last years jam.

Hope to see you guys & gals soon.

It'll be so much cooler this year...

It was good to meet you Fred. It was great to see Dadical there, too.

I hope to meet many more members at Rich's jam this year.

It's a really good experience - worth the drive, etc.

I'm ready!

Great playing by a bunch of amazing local folks.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

As usual, Rich put on a fantastic day.

If you didn't get there this year, put it on your calendar now for next year.
