I played one at a local shop. Tempting, if only the neck had a little more meat to it.

See i got small hands, and i don't mind playing an action that sits higher, since i play blues and funk mostly. littleuch what did you think sound wise? The fact that it doesn't say limited run on the GC website kind of throws me a bit too.

I didn't plug it in, but thought it was a well made, very attractive guitar. I'm familiar with the stock pups on the 62, think they sound great although I prefer a 5 way switch with a reverse wound middle pup.

Thankfully it comes with the 5 way upgrade kit, and i know the pickups are 57/62's. Every second i inch closer to buying this.

It says FSR in the title...Factory Special Run or something along those lines.

Thanks Mfitz804 for clearing that up, i guess i have always been ignorant to why FSR was in the title of some guitars. That looks better then i thought it would, thanks for the quality picture Rufus.

That's a pretty sweet looking unit. I've always liked the 62's. I had a 67 Duo-Sonic in that color with a maple fingerboard back in the 70's. Loved the color. The pup covers and mother of toilet seat pickguard were yellowed with age. Wish I had that one back! Great color!

Nice git..The only thing that could make it better is a maple fingerboard..But that's just my opinion..

Very nice color. All it needs is a mother of pearl pickguard to be perfect.

I just noticed the asking price. That discount is quite minimal compared to the usual substantial discount most stores offer.

I have big hands but I kinda run against the grain..I like skinny necks..Don't know why really..guess maybe because the first electrics I played were Telecasters from the 60s and 70s..I've loved em ever since..
