Hi to everybody, I have a beautiful White Stratocaster American Standard and yesterday I discovered a little issue on Volume Control: when I use it, between "9" and "10" I heard a little noise on amp. Should I change Volume control? Is there something that I can do?
Thanks a lot
Simone

My guess is that there's some RF interference where you are and the single coil pickups are picking it up. It always gets worse as you open up the volume all the way. Some places have more RF interference than others. Single coils will always hum to some extent, but sometimes, depending on what electrical equipment is operating near you, it can get really noisy. If you're only hearing a mild hum, I'd say that's just the normal sound of a single coil guitar.
