I bought a near "10" 68 BLPR 4 years ago for 900 and it was a good deal IMO. As carsten said. 1K to 1.5K. Great amps....love the drip edge era when they are mint.

values listed are right on, but I have seen a couple minty ones sell in the 2K range.

Very cool amp. I had a June '67 blackline. The tube chart was stamped like the blackface amps "QF" $1200 would be a good price with the original speaker missing. $1K would be a steal.

Sold mine last year for $1200 on the bay. I kinda wish I hadn't. The original Oxford was just so sweet at clean levels.

I bought mine a couple of years ago off ebay for $850. No footswitch and a non original speaker (Pyle). Everything else is original inc. the tubes. I would say it is in good condition. No rips in the tolex some light scratches on the faceplate couple of small holes in the grill cloth.

Mine is a 68 drip edge, pretty clean, and I got it for $900, on ebay, four years ago.

I would not cut loose with mine for less that 1500, but it is a museum piece, maybe 1700. Mine is a BFDR '67
Totally stock.

Don't blame you a bit. I needed some money and decided to part with the '68 and keep my '65. It was a bad time to sell in general so I was good with the $1,200 I got for it.

Roly, you're kidding, right? You restored that?
By doing so, you devalued the amp. You should have left it in original condition =o)

Roly, that's just like the '68 I bought a few years back off Ebay for $450. It arrived all busted up and I sent pics to the seller. He filed a claim with UPS and he refunded my money and let me keep the amp. Needless to say I brought it back to life and use it for most small gigs. For once....thanks UPS!

Roly,
I can't seem to locate the 'before' pics but imagine a JBL D110F tearing out of the baffle and going crazy inside the cab during shipment. Pretty much like your experience.

Roly,
I was watching the auction for your PR. It was some time ago. I remember all the rust! It looked like it had been submerged in salt water so just watched and did not bid. Cool to hear it worked out for you.
