Hey, glad someone else liked it too!
I suprised myself with this in a matter of minutes. Now I'm all fired up.
I can't wait to get this pattern fluid like he does it.
It's going to take some hard work, but I'm down.
I have the pattern memorized already. I just have to make is as he says "fluid".

It's an okay lesson and a good place to start but he only takes you 1/3 of the way there.
It IS good to know your scales but his playing sounds like just that, like he's playing a scale. There are other chords he's playing over beside G major.
This is where arpeggio work comes in. When you hit the chord tones of the chords you are playing over it sounds more interesting and displays some musical knowledge on your part. You don't have to hit all the chord tones all the time but if I were this guy that would be my next lesson.
And why did he switch to that gawdaful distortion sound when he started playing over the chords? 8v)

He's been around for years. He has lots of great lessons on YouTube that cover the whole gamut. This was only one of many. And there are similar great instructors there as well on YT. Type a lesson title and see what pops up. Most are pretty good. Some have great camera angles and closeups with tab, slow downs etc etc. Go explore.

He's one of the few web instructors who has a good video on the proper way to hold a pick for faster playing.
