Why not lots of fisherman here, all things fishy.

Places to go, pictures of fish, gear..yes gear.

Ill start off with my 3 day stay at Boca Grande on the west coast of Florida last week, for those who aren't familiar with the area its an island just off the coast south of Tampa.

There a deep hole off the island where the Tarpon migrate to breed, Tarpon that are by far one of the strongest fighting fish in the water.

This 90lber took about 45 minutes, get one on in the 130 zone and its a hour and a half fight with constant acrobatics.

Sorry about the pictures but we were trying to revive her and didn't want to lift her out of the water.

Side note: Temptations Restaurant on the island is off the charts.

Nice fish, BB!

I have a 55 acre lake right down the hill from me, and it's loaded with bass and crappie. And I've yet to walk down there and throw a line in.

I haven't fished since I was about 15. Sad.

The rivers have been closed since the end of March but open June 1 for steelhead. I should probably be respooling all of my reels, cleaning up the boat, etc. Instead I have my daughter's 4-Runner torn apart in the driveway. :/

I don't fish near as much as I wish I did.

I'm *old school* with my gear. Three Fenwick Fenglass fly rods with Pflueger reels. rods are (sorry no PICs) 6", 7.5" and 9".
Me in the Provo river a couple of years ago ... sadly this is tha last time I went fishng :(

Went out in April, Chesapeake Bay. Two nice rockfish (striped bass for you non-Merliners).
Fishface. Not quite "guitarface," but you get the idea.
