I have been in the market for a strat for a while now. I wanted one that had some "bite" to it. I was originally wanting to get the Blacktop HSH, but after doing some research online I'm being swayed to a standard strat mod'ed with maybe a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails or JBjr in the bridge position.
I'm going for a versatile strat, one that I can play everything from blues to the occasional metal riff.
What do y'all think?

Either option is a cool one, if you ask me.
And there are more of them ;-)
(just thinking of the different Strats that come stock with HSS ... especially the AmStd and AmDlx)
Edited to add: but I'd miss the neck single, so HSH would not be an option for me.
