What a lousy, lousy flick. Just saw it for the first time the other night.

People who love Tarantino think he can do wrong. Conversely, I've never seen anything of his that I liked.

To each his own.

The first scene, with the jew-hunter in the French country house, is brilliant. You can skip the rest.

The scene in the basement bar, before the shooting, is brilliant. You can skip the rest.

I'm not particularly a Tarantino fan, but I liked this one. Among other things, I especially liked the Bowie song being used for when she's preparing her revenge. The shootout in the bar is one of the top shootout scenes in movies according to numerous polls and lists.

I'm a Tarantino fan, but thought the ending could have better.

The scene where the people are hiding under the floor, and the previously mentioned bar scene are classic Tarantino. He's a master at that sort of tension.

Ha, I was going to point out that the Bowie song in a WWII piece really rubbed me the wrong way. YMMV...

Great movie. The French scene with the Jew Hunter, as mentioned previously, was brilliant.

I liked it, but I can see why some wouldn't. I generally like Tarantino flicks, but some like the two Kill Bills are simply unwatchable.

The two "Terminating Willam" flicks were the only ones I didn't like. Only got about 10 minutes into the first one and never looked back. Actually rented the second one (duh) and same same.

I thought "Inglorious Basterds" was brilliant.

FWIW, it is the only Tarantino flick that Mrs BnB liked.

Yes first scene and bar scene was great. I liked the movie and have it on my DVR to watch. But it isn't compelling enough to rush to viewing been there for months.

I caught most of it on TNT the other night, I believe.

I was somewhat entertained.

Not sure how anyone can classify any of it as "brilliant"...it's only film, for cryin' out loud.
It's not like he was playing an Yngwie solo or anything like that.

I thought it was excellent...not particularly a Tarantino fan, but I liked this one. We've got it on disc.

Christophe Waltz was fantastic, and as a rule, I'll see anything with Diane Kruger in it. ;-).

I use the line "I speak Italian 3rd best" quite a bit over here, LOL...
