I know that it can be done, but has anyone here put a Deluxe Reverb (Reissue or otherwise) in a head cabinet?
It is something that I find intriguing. Just from preliminary measuring, it looks like the DRRI chassis would perfectly fit in a Showman, Bandmaster or Bassman head cabinet.
If you've done this, or have thoughts about it I'd like to hear your take on it.

No a Deluxe Reverb, but I did it with my Pro Tube Concert Reverb.
Love it that way, but miss the original looks at the same time.
Anyway, I built the head cab myself and had it painted by my wife.
I see that there are offers for head cabs around.

You will not have room for the reverb tank in a Showman/Bandmaster cab. They are too short.
Mojo, Weber, Newell & other offer cabs of the correct height.

Thanks to all for the info. As it turns out, I've decided against the idea as cool as it might be.
