I just received a GK 112-II NEO bass cab (Gallien-Krueger) rated 300 watts @ 8 ohms to go with my 15-6 cab. Even though I have a 15" 3015 Eminence NEO speaker in the 15-6 cab (and a 6" 18-sound speaker) I love the tones I am getting from this little cab and due to back and the 112 weighing in at 30lbs. I am considering buying another to go with this cab. Sounds fantastic with my Genz Benz Streamliner 600 amp (6 lbs)

I have the MB210 combo by GK. I love my sound from this light weight rig. I strongly suspect yours sounds every bit as good.

No wonder you like that GK 112-II Neo cabinet.

I have the GK Neo 115-III which I partner with a Markbass head and my feelings about it are the same. Never owned a GK cab before but they certainly seem to have got it right with this range.

I was pleasantly surprised to tell you the truth. Small, 30lbs. 1 12" speaker and horn. Didn't expect quite what I got. Put a big smile on my face for sure.

I've been wanting to try a pair of the G-K Neo 1-12s with an eye to replacing my pair of Bag End 15s. My back would appreciate it, and I really like G-K tone.

Yes, Heavyduty, at 30 lbs it is a light weight for sure. The 12" speaker has a very nice range to it. Just before I sold my GK 700RBII yesterday I was able to A/B it's tweeter biamped and running full through it's internal Crossover and I liked the Crossover better. Better projection and sweet tone that compliments the 12" speaker.

Ok, so I ordered a second one. If it stacks up sound and volume wise like I hope I might be letting my 15-6 Neo Cab go to save my back as it is easier to carry 2 30 lbs cabs one at a time than a 50 lb. cab (not as bulky). Already reduced the amp weight from 16.5 lbs to 6lbs (and increased wattage) when I replaced my GK 700 RBII I just sold with my Genz Benz Streamliner 600.

I got these new from the link below for $299 ea. (most places it is $399) Get a quote

Bubbalou, do you have a fiver? I'm curious how well they handle the low B, and I have never been able to find one to demo.

I use a five with the GK Neo 115-iii. It does the B string much better than my Aggie GS112 or Avatar B210-neo. I am thoroughly impressed with the 115. I would like to buy a second one but I really don't need two as one is quite loud.

Once I turned the tweeters off the two 12 cabs sounded really good with decent(not earthshaking but Decent) lows, mids etc. Also, I think the new cab's speaker needed to break in for about an hour too. I like these little cabs.

I took the two 12" cabs to practice and I was very surprised and what happened. Absolutely no problem kicking butt with lows, punchy mids. Had only one tweeter on and at 25%. I am happy now. I can take one cab when I need to just work with the keyboardist. When I got there with the two cabs you could see it written all over the guitarist face when he said "Are those twelves" with a look of concern. He later said it did just fine. I bought a 25 foot #12 gauge speak-on cable so I can put one cab by me on my side of the stage and put the other cab near the guitarist on the other side of the drummer and the stage if needed for balance of sound (if it even needs it. With this it looks like I can "pair down" my cabs to just these two kick butt cabs.

Still likeing this combonation of 2 112-2 GK Cabs and Genz Benz Strealiner 600 but it sounds really good just cranked up a little.
