Pulled out the Dunlop wah pedal a few days ago and noticed it was stiff. Also found that it was hard to switch on and off and seen that the felt pad was worn so you had to press harder to turn it on and off. hard to believe since I can count on my hand how many times I used it and stored in its box. Guess I'll look for a stick on rubber foot to replace the felt pad and clean and lube the pot.

Anything else or suggestions.

It could be the bar that the foot plate attaches to that need lubing.
Careful with that as too much lube makes the pedal never want to stay in any position except completely down.

Use white lithium grease on the rocker-pivot spring. That keeps it from falling out of the "cocked wah" position as myshka stated.

If the pot is scratchy. They are sealed, so you have to replace it minding where the gear is when you take the old one out. If it quits working Dunlop or several ebay sellers have the whold board for $20, and bottom plates are available on ebay. This is a great design as you can repair it yourself. You can get new switches also.

The switch height is generally adjustable. Sometimes if it is too low you're fighting the chassis of the wah more than the switch itself and makes it seem stiff. That isn't to say that is definitely what it is, though.
