I like the idea. I built the one in the link. But sometimes I wish it was a different color. Maybe a lighter green. In a dark room it's hard to see how nice it is.

I love green guitars. Shame they just don't sell.

Warmoth has a surprising amount of "any green" bodies in stock. My guess is they have a market beyond the usual Seafom and Surf Green offerings.

Sherwood green metallic was always a favorite, and yellows and greens done really well on maple tops can be stunning...... but they're also pretty easy to screw up.

How 'bout that yellow-to-green LP sunburst they had for a while?

I can't link photos, because they all seem to be on other fora.

OK found a linkable one. Some have even more yellow in the middle, this one is subtler.

I bonded with greenburst on my original solid-body electric guitar (MIJ Kingston). I've liked it ever since. I have several darker green guitars; but funny, no greenburst other than that one.

Of the ones you can just go buy, I think PRS does the best green on the market currently. They have various bursts, solids and all of them feature that incredible top.

I'm sure everyone has their favorite, green in any form is not mine, but if it were, it would be PRS's versions. Where's that 4 grand when I need it....;-)

Gretcsh has the best green out there, but I haven't ever seen a greenburst that sparked my interest.

This is my green monster.

Very pimp, what with the green flame, gold hardware, and led lights under the pickups controlled with a push-pull pot on the tone control.
