And now the wild fires have started. I'm going to do a rain dance, wash my car and everything else I can think of for some RAIN! ps - I'm only supposed to water my lawn twice a week now. Goodbye to the remaining green grass!

Don't even bother, 5, the detergent will dry before you can get to the hose to rinse it off!

Heck, we have an irrigation system and are only using it to keep the lawn alive. To hell with green. In 1988, we had a third acre of grass that didn't go dormant, but died. But the weeds did outstandingly well. Weeds. The cockroaches of the grass plant families!

We've been 44 days now without a drop of rain. My water bill would be $600 this month if I tried to keep it green.

We are dry in west Texas also but you guys may be dryer. We've only been allowed to water one day per week but I think they lifted that and we can water twice a week now. We all need some rain.
