Do you guys get these in other parts of the country. They're a pretty big onion and sauteed they are just the best. I'm preparing some right now to put on my "BiG Salad".

My "Big Salad" is a meal in itself (romaine or green leaf lettuce, baby spinach, cuke, carrot, celery, radish, tomato, avocado, olives, one whole chicken breast and croutons, lightly dressed) perfect for summertime.

Raw makes me gag. I like the carmelized grilled kind.

Mmm.... Texas 1015.

We're next door to you and they're regularly available here but usually in a big sack. We just don't use onions enough to buy more than two or three at a time.

We get Vidalias, which at times you could eat them like an apple.

Ill have to check our Costco see if they ship them here, I usually don't buy veges at Costco.

Love these (Vidalias, too). We get Mayan Sweet onions in SoCal, also wonderful. A treat, simply grilled with some olive oil and salt and pepper along with your BBQ.

Woodall I saw those guys at the Saturday Farmers market when I was in WW the beginning of July. Just down home real nice folks. I bought a bunch of onions and a couple different types of garlic from them.

People in those farming communities are great, they remind me of how great this area is and the market was also nostalgic of values from when I was a kid in the 50's and 60's. I've often said I don't know if I could live in a place that small but I'm beginning to change my mind.

I make a yearly 2 hr drive to WW to get a bag. WW's grown in WW are not the same as WW's grown elsewhere.
