Are you cleaning the shell wraps themselves? Or are you attempting to clean old adhesive off of bare wood? If it’s the former, you may find some useful guidance...

Yes, give some more details on your project.. Are you wanting to clean the wrap or lacquered shells.?

I've restored a few kits from just detailing the heck out of them to re-wrapping, to touching up stain and applying a new clear coat..
