Six a.m. here, 35 degrees and I can see some frost on the green grass.

That sun better get up quick or I'll have a bunch of wilted flowers and plants.

Wayyyy to cold for 5/12. But this should be the last of the 30s, according to the cute weather chick on TV.

We are forecast to have snow tomorrow morning and ground frost the next day (Monday into Tuesday). I am, at this time, 100 miles of Montreal at 1200 feet elevation.

Not totally a surprise here.

Global warming - Yeah sure.

(Yeah sure: for a further reference on this expression, see Ball Four by Jim Bouton [baseball player]).

It was in the low-mid eighties this past week. 40f now and a mix of sun/clouds, rain and snow flakes. SE Michigan. How's it up north today, Argo? I saw a friend's post on Facebook yesterday. She and her kin are up at their cottage in Kalkaska and they had a pic of them having a snowball fight.

Haven't you been keeping up? Now they call it "Climate Change" because they got tired of people with an ability to read a thermometer saying, "Yeah, right Skippy". Now it's all about CO2, greenhouse gasses. No mention of the fact that the earth has been going through these changes all on its own for a very long time.

We had snow in the 4th week of April. That is astounding for this far south!

We had a record low of 32 on Sunday. We're supposed to have a record high of 96 today.

Gotta love the midwest.
