I was watching the Doors live from the Hollywood Bowl on VH1 Classic. Does anyone know what that dual keyboard setup was?

It looked like a really small keyboard sitting on top of a slightly bigger lower keyboard. What were those?

Also, I didn't see any foot pedals. And I didn't see a bass player. Where was the bass coming from? Did they actually have loops going 40+ years ago?

Be gentle! These questions are coming from a guitar player who knows diddly squat about organs and keyboards.

I'm not sure of the organ but it's probably a Vox Continental. It could be a Farfisa but it doesn't look like one. The small one on top is a Fender Rhodes Bass keyboard. He played bass with his left hand.

Thanks! I never knew there was a bass Rhodes. That explains the lack of bass pedals and bass player.

Here's a short clip of a 1966 Rhodes Bass piano. They go down to low E, just like a bass guitar.

The organ was a Gibson G101.
