You got yerself a nice guitar there. The pickups in these are superb: fat, bright, and clear.

I like the necks on these.

The only drawback to these DeArmonds is many of them are boat anchors in weight.

The M-75T only weighs about 9.5 pounds. The "problem" is the the wider lower bout makes them bottom heavy, the weight would be less noticeable if it were more evenly distributed.

Congrats, hippiepsychedelic, that's a nice looking guitar.

Hey, kego, good to see you as well! How are things for you & Lrgo? I posted a "funny" in your thread in the Gigs & Jams forum.

I bought my wife a right-handed M-77T with the Solar Bronze finish, otherwise known as Goldtop. Which she totally ignored. I ended up selling it because at the time I thought that I could force my brain & fingers to play lefty (as a child I was forced to be right-handed). In retrospect that was a very stupid move.

The M-77T (sold), M-75 (kept), & M-75T Lefty (still have) all weighed about 9.5 pounds. I don't think that 9.5 pounds is out of line for Les Paul-styled guitar.
