I've hosted a couple of time in the past and we had a great time. I certainly would attend someone else's jam if you hosted or would not mind doing it again.

Interest? Ideas?

I'm not that good of a player and I'm still recovering from my two surgeries. If there is a jam I can at least bring some beer.

I've sat out doing it for two years and really want to have another. I've used my home in the past but outdoors on the patio weather (heat) can be an issue. It was 108 one year.

I might go for earlier in the year. Maybe the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Maybe some June gloom in the morning but the afternoons are usually very nice.

If all else fails we could meet at Liquid Smoke's boat and jam with acoustics on deck! Fish and chips for a snack.

Maybe I'll have to get myself an acoustic. I'm definitely in for the fish and chips.

I almost came over to the coat on Sunday. My friends "The Fabulous Woodies" were at the Coyote Bar. I play drums for them sometimes at their better paying gigs. This was not one of them.

If we do something acoustic I can always bring a spare.

If you don't mind my lousy playing, I'm in.

Sorry about the late reply, but I'd be interested in a SoCal jam. Hot weather is Ok with me.

So far I'm thinking the 13th or the 20th of June. I'm searching for a venue but might just as well do it at the Casa de Hammond patio studio. Outdoors, Shade, pool, BBQ, nice neighbors. Wives, GFs, Father/Son, Mother/Daughter. It's a family style thing with local talent added to the mix. We have always had an audience and they have always enjoyed our jams.

We have typically started about noon on a Saturday and gone 'til dark with electric music. After that it's acoustic only just to be kind to the neighbors.

We had a gal come over from the coast one year who did an acoustic version of Peter Gabriel's "Here Comes the Flood". We sat or stood or leaned with our mouths open. Too good for words! Ms. Dana Ralston. Wow!

I've decided on a date. Saturday June 20.
We will do this at Casa de H101 in Wildomar,CA. Start about noon, play electric music 'till dark then break out the acoustics. Not to say we can't have and acoustic set during the day as well.

I will post more details in early May but please post your intensions if you plan on attending.

Local talent will be invited too.

One acoustic set later on is more than enough, AFAIC. :-)

Will there be any kind of backline, or will I be forced to do a road trip? I can pack a guitar for a train. Last time out, I packed an amp head and guitar on the train. I'd prefer not to do that again. Getting too old and lazy.

I will have all my custom builds on the backline, a bass amp, drums and full PA with monitors. Leslie will also be set up for A/B on one rig. (mine!) All anybody really needs to bring is an axe and pedals if they wish however I will have my board and a couple extra drive boxes.

Well folks, a gig I can't pass up just hit my schedule and I must reschedule the date for the jam. I'll check the calendar and post back in the next few days.
