All I need is one more guitar

Been noticing recently as I check out acoustics in various stores that there's a real wide swing in how the stores handle humidity - none of the methods work well judging by how the playing action/intonation is affected.
I've noticed that Martins don't handle the dryness in the stores as well as Taylors do. Just judging by the action height.
Also at home I noticed that last winter I didn't pay as much attention to humidity control and my Taylor & Martin did not sound/play very good.
This season I've been much more attentive to humidity and i can feel/hear the differnece.
It matters.

You may have seen this video by Taylor. Bob is the king of self promotion but damned if he does not know more about the mechanics of moisture and wood and guitars.

YT footage of a really jacked up dry guitar and the Bob effect.

I just cringe when I walk into an otherwise good guitar store and see the guitars with fret sprout and sunken tops on acoustic guitars. Yeah you can bring some of them back but it's so much better not to have to deals with cracks and fret filing etc. in the first place.
