I bought the 6139 CB

It's a thinner version of the White Falcon, and it has a center block and humbuckers.

Plays great, and a real looker!

Whie Falcon is my all-time favorite. If that even half of one then I know it's a great guitar!

Nice.

Those thumbnail inlays are my favorite position markers, bar none.

Look into replacing your TOM bridge with a Tru-Arc. I put an aluminum one on my 6122-JR and think it yields a marked improvement in tone and playability.

Thanks everybody!

Joe Potts, how does that Rancher Falcon sound? I'd never heard of that until I saw your pic.

Is it made in Japan?

Very cool looking guitar!

Blacksunshine, I like the Rancher Falcon a lot, but it's not a "top end" guitar like the electric White Falcon. It's made in Indonesia, and is a good guitar for the money. I think it was about $600, if I remember correctly.

Sweet!

I like that it has tone knobs and not those ridiculous (and mostly useless) tone switches that Gretsch insists on including with most of it's HB-equipped guitars.
