One of the guys uploaded this to Youtube today. The pics are from a gig we played but the music is a studio version we did in 2006. I'm played the acoustic parts on this one and some vocal harmony. See what you think.

I'd like to pick the pedal steel player's mind as I have been working on that and standard steel the last few years. Sounds great all the way around.

For some reason I was expecting a Grateful Dead cover. Completely different song.

Great cover BBender...Love it when it is close to the original with just a tinge of personal flavoring. Never got to do any of my old band's originals in the studio....always talked about it, but never got there.

Thanks guys. We did do this one in a studio. I noticed some timing (drums) a few places.
I'd say not too bad for a bunch of old dudes.

Our steel guitar player is a National Champion banjo player also and he picked up steel guitar only after I brought on to practice one night. He was better at it than me within a week. He's definitely the strongest member of the band even though he doesn't sing.
