Hi guys

My friend has a Yuri Shishkov master build telecaster, gold with bigsby but lost the COA. It's a really great tele and i want to buy it. I'm looking into the prices but can't find a decent answer.
1) Which year is it build? Can i find that any where?
2) What is it worth without the COA and accessories?

I live in Europe.

Thanks!

Hard to give values without specific details. First step is to contact Fender with the serial number and see about getting a replacement COA. Fender can also give you an approximate age.

In my experience, Fender does not issue replacement COAs. However, they can assign a date of manufacture by the serial number.

The value of any custom shop Fender increases when there's a matching COA. No COA? Lower price.

A member here bought my Time Machine Nocaster some years ago. I'd misplaced the COA but found it a couple years later. I couldn't remember who bought it but when I ran a post in Moe's he responded. I told him to send me his mailing address and I'd send it along. Never heard from him again although he still occasionally posts.

Stuff that makes you go, huh. Anyone want a Nocaster COA?

This is interesting, with a masterbuilt, or true custom order, how do you arrive at the resale price? Is it comparable to the original purchase? What is someone willing to pay for someone else's specs? Like will ornate fret-inlays hold the same value for the next guy? :)
