I bought a used FM 212 DSP amp and need a footswitch. The correct Part No. is 0070946000 but having trouble finding one. Can another 2-button Fender footswitch be used? If so, which one? I asked Fender directly and got no help.

Thanks.

A generic 2 button footswitch should work with for that. Probably way less money.

If by chance you should get a a generic dual fs and it doesn't work properly, it's an easy fix by de-soldering, moving and re-soldering a couple of wires. I've made my own a few times too.

If it has to say Fender on it

this will work

Would a Fender Part No. 0071359000 work? I see lots of these for sale. It's also a 2-button switch; one button for channel and one button for effect. It looks the same. Would there really be a wiring difference?

My bad. I didn't notice the link. You suggested the same as I had thought.

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

Did that footswitch work with the amp?
