Having finally managed to buy a genuine vintage cover, I'm now on a mission - again - to get these remade for 60's models (type 1 & 2) However, I am now being told that there was more than one design of cover?
I've been through all the Fender "reference books" that I own (a lot!!) & all the Bass VI pics seem to show the same cover. Indeed, I can find no reference at all regarding different bridges being fitted.
Can anybody throw any light on this please?
(by the way .... I did ask Fender but they said that there was no demand)
