MCM Electronics sells a Stellar Labs knockoff of a Behringer knockoff of a Mackie popular 150 watt powered monitor.

I bought one on sale for $120. Like the Mackie, it's 150 watts RMS, has two channels plus mp3 input channel, master three band EQ, and has a very useable echo/reverb effect that sounds quite nice.

It is VERY light, fits on a mic stand. I was hoping to use it for vocals only for single act gigs I do at old folks homes. I've done a few running two vocal mics and even my acoustic guitar through, in a pretty large room. It filled nicely.

I played a funeral type celebration with the deceased's brother. He used his Fishman Loudbox Mini and I used my powered monitor.

I was easily able to keep up with him in both volume and tone. He ran his guitar and vocals through his Fishman, and I did the same with mine.

I am thrilled with this little box. 150watts RMS Class D amp, 5 1/4" Neo speaker.

I have not yet been able to get the amp or speaker to break up.

For the price, it beats the snot out of 12-25 watt starter acoustic guitar amps being lighter, more powerful and just sounds better.

I did configure knob protection from a small angled piece of aluminum that runs along the outside right edge of the control panel.

Looks very cool - esp. at the price you paid. Sure a lot lighter than my old Fender Acoustasonic Jr. (which must weigh 50-60 lbs.!).

Did you buy yours at that link for that price?
