In the mid seventies we just untucked our shirt tails and that was that.

But boy does that man look self confident in the commercials, the way he strides down the city streets!

That shirt is not slightly too short, women's length. A man's shirt is a bit longer.

I was going to post on this also!!!

The funny part of the commercial is that his voiceover describes this HUGE problem that needed to be solved. Like Hoover Dam construction....or the moon landing. And then the Eureka moment.
They solved it!

Maybe post a link to the commercial?

Affirms that the new age is all about sloth.

Imagine:

Sock head.
Skinny jeans
Crotch 6" below the regulation height
Short shirt...
yeah.. that's my style.

The new bell bottoms of the shirt world.. short lived.

It says to me that the person who chooses this uniform is irrelevant.

I remember when "visible panty lines" was a problem to be solved.

I definitely have shirts that are too long to be worn untucked. But there's plenty of places selling shirts that are cut to be worn untucked.

I don't know how that is a viable business.

I have no problem with the Untuckits...it's the TV types (males) who look like they're wearing their (much younger) brothers' suits...

Never will get that style.

I intentionally wear 'Over Sized' untucked shirts.
(my regular size would be XL or maybe XXL depending on maker). But I wear normally wear XXXL UNTUCKED.

Why? they all asked with baited breath....
Well, because it covers my holsters better than any other method. Also on occasion it covers a shoulder holster. The problems of living in year 'round summertime here in FL.

I haven't tucked a shirt in over a decade, but this is Hawaii. If properly worn, it's like a suit jacket, your thumb should reach the bottom seam and no further.

I started seeing those untucked shirt ad's and just lump them into hipsterville along with skinny jeans and scruffy beards.

These days and for quite a while now every single commercial has that slow motion thing . It's so calculated whether it's a car / truck . clothes or some sort of personal care product.

They have this crap down to a science along with all the ask your doctor if this certain drug is right for you with all the horrific side affects.

Decades ago you would actually see a car and what you could expect. Now none of this is real it's an add agency trick bag.

I'm kind of lanky with a long torso so pretty much all untucked shirts fit me like that.

I resurrected this thread, as there are some new Untuckit commercials!

I think I liked the other commercial better, posted above.

CG, if you happened to visit this thread, my old Brooks Brothers shirts look like the "lab coat" in the second commercial I just posted.
