I've got my own

I've had this for several months now, wringing it out. I like it...it does liven up practice sessions and sounds great when sitting around with others playing acoustically.

So far, so good. It attaches to the guitar with magnets--so no holes or tape on your muy expensivo finish. Batteries seem to last too.

It doesn't make your guitar louder, but it does add reverb, delay, Leslie tones, and (oddly) a trigger wah. STRANGE choice for an effect on an acoustic guitar, but hey--it works pretty well.

All the sounds/effects come out of the sound hole. It works by taking your guitar's pickup signal and sending it (with effects) to a little rubber foot that rests against the back of the guitar. The rubber foot has an internal transducer behind it to drive the guitar's back.

Ingenious.

Another cool feature is you can run a line out to a board or amp and the effects sound good.

It also has a VERY precise parametric EQ that allows you to get really surgical to dial out up to two offending frequencies that are causing feedback.

There was a thing years ago for electric guitars called the Sustainiac that operated in a similar manner: it took the guitar's signal, boosted it, and sent it to a transducer that mounted on the back of the headstock.

It vibrated the neck, causing infinite sustain of the note or chords you played.

Sort of like an E-Bow. But it never caught on.

It's pretty good. It sounds even better when you use the line out to a PA or amp.

I don't know why Marty McFly (in the demo linked above) didn't demo the tremolo. Probably because he just woke up. Looks like it :o)

Very cool. Just watched a video with Mike Dawes on youtube. The "Leslie" effect was bad ass sounding!
