Peavey makes a decent amp and bass for that matter. A lot of bang for the buck.

I just listened to a video of the Rumble 25 and was surprised by the tone the 8" speaker put out.
If you do decide to get this amp, consider Sweetwater as they have a 2 year warranty at no cost on this amp.

Go for the Peavey Max 115, so long as it's not damaged. I used Peavey bass amps for eons and they have always delivered.

I'm still doing cartwheels of joy over the Rumble 25 I just bought. For the heck of it, I ran my Stratocaster through it today....a genuine blast.

I haven't done anything. I'm on the other side of the country right now. The amp is still listed.

Back from vacation to find the Peavey is no longer listed.

I snoozed and losed.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Rumble 25. My sweetie gave me a Sweetwater gift card for my birthday.

So, candy!

And a bass amp, finally.

I've had a lot of fun with Rumble gear the last few years. Nice bang for my bucks.

This is a sweet little bass amp. All I need too.

It has been years since I played bass. Now I have no excuse.

Glad I found this thread as I too am in the market for a bass amp to go with my "new to me" bass. The Rumble 25 as well as the Rumble 40 is on my short list.

I thought about the 40. But the 25 is more than enough. Either way you can’t go wrong.

Having said that, the Ric would sound righteous through a bigger amp. If I had that bass I would probably lean that way.

I really like the 40, the weight is nice, it gets used everyday. I have a 15 too, I'm not as happy with it, but it's OK.

Every once in a while I crave another, but my amp needs are really well covered.

I was very tempted by the 40. But, at half the price, the 25 is still more than I need.

This is a seriously great line of bass amps.

Interesting that, according to Fender, the 40 weighs even less than the 25 (18 lbs v. 21 lbs).

The 25 is just a *tad* smaller than the 40.

It must be the speaker.

It could also be the cabinet material. The 40 lists low weight plywood the 25 lists “NA” I’m thinking MDF.
