Just got my Strat back from a pro luthier. He completed a fret dress an crown, also got him to do a general set up. It's great except for my locking (ping Fender) tuners. They were perfect when it went in. Now they're really hard to turn and quite a bit of play in them.
Is there much if any adjustment to be made to these tuners? I'm wondering what he's done before I take it back.

It's just a guitar, not rocket science.

The screw on top of the tuner button usually tightens the action, but should not introduce any play. Back 'em off a little and see what happens.
