Is this something new? Back in the day I thought the only way you could get a replacement neck from Fender was via a warranty issue.

I know... very competitive with the aftermarket necks. I wonder if the frets are leveled and dressed.

My local shop has some MIM necks and bodies. No serial #'s though. I bought a red MIM "Replacement Body" for a project, it turned out very nice; the only complaint I have is that it is a bit heavy.

I bought a 2011 Fender USA Hwy. One neck for my Fender Standard FSR Jazz Bass . Puerfect match, fit, nut and fretwork. Came still in the box with protective wrapping
