Channel one does a pretty good job of emulating my old TR. On channel two, if I am using perhaps the Princeton mode, is it still a 100w amp, or is it cutting the watts back to 18w like the Princeton would actually have? I've not had the chance to crank it way up for any length of time to experiment.

No modeler will cut the wattage based on that - they have a master volume etc.

Individual models may be louder or quieter than the rest, but...not a power soak.

Further to what revrob said, I suspect that the gain structure (ie: Gain control) of the different models is where they would have built in the "compensation" so to speak.

Rob knows more about these things than I do, but that's my theory...
