I decided to try a set of strings made by StringJoy a small guy out of Nashville I saw advertised on Facebook. Holy smoke these things are great with a crisp bell like tone and feel great on the fingers. FYI ..I use 10s on my Strat and they are very easy to bend. This company offers dates with heavy, medium and light gauge bottom strings on each of their strings sets.

They don't do stainless, so...no interest.

Stainless, interesting, haven't heard of them? What's the story for this old fart who, evidently has been living in a cave?

If you corrode the bejeezuz out of strings (like some folks do), stainless steel strings are worth a look.
However, if you're a firm gripper/string bender and you have conventional nickel alloy fret wire, stainless steel strings can prematurely wear the frets.

Ordered some of these yesterday. They have an option for a wound 3rd, so I figured I'd give 'em a shot.

Thanks for the info on Stainless. I think I'll give them a look.
Are they available in most brands or specifying to one or two?
