I can't remember if we've done this recently. Then again, I usually can't remember what I had for breakfast. lol!

Here's my newly-configured pedalboard with a Pedaltrain Custom 1 board and a Truetone 1 Spot CS7 underneath. I used EBS flat cables from Sweetwater. They were back-ordered for a couple of weeks but worth the wait.

I posted a thread recently about building my own board, but I came into some money for doing a side job so I decided to opt for the Pedaltrain's lighter weight.

I also added a fused ON/OFF switch along with a quick disconnect plate for the amp cables. The plate isn't pretty (the holes were too big), but it'll do. I may replace it later if I get the gumption.

Eric, if I didn't play out, my board would look like yours. :o)

Piney, how do you like the Tumnus Deluxe? I've been listening to YT clips.

I had the Paisley Drive and it was a great pedal, but it didn't add anything different than my Keeley BD-2.

Yep! Mine's a stay-at-home board.

I'm actually assembling a second board specifically for my other amp. I should have it done next weekend.

I should do one of these at least once a year!

Here's me for 2018. (at least for now!)

Actually, the only things that really change are my OD's. I a few others that jump on & off but the top row hasn't changed in years.

This is my mini pedalboard that put together the beginning of the year.

edit to add: Worth noting that the Mooer Hustle Drive and Rumble Drive sound incredible. Highly recommend them if anyone is looking for micro pedal OD's.

We'll await the pic.

Nice, Mick! What are the lil cushions on the switches? Are they for shock, or dust?

I have a large pedalboard but it's in such disarray that it would just show how disorganized and uncommitted I am to the pedals that are/were on it. I keep swapping things out, sometimes removing a pedal to put in the effects loop of my amp, etc. I hate lugging the thing around so I just use my ME-70, which does the job for me 95% of the time. I'll probably take the time to put the pedalboard back together after I retire, and just use it at home. Way too many pedals to put them all on there though! ;)

Here's what I got.

Round button top left is power *on/off*.

Below it is the bypass loop to skip the pedal board.

The Carvin switch controls reverb on the amp, channel and the AD999 analog delay in the amp effects loop, that pedal sits atop the amp.

I have a EH Big Muff that I took off the board and may put back.

It's powered with a *DC brick* hidden below the upper level there.

Lefty, those are "pedal toppers". They're just a plastic cap that fits over the switch button (friction-fit). It just gives you a bigger target when you stomp. It also makes it easier if you play barefoot!

Mooer makes them, but I got unbranded ones from China for half the money. (identical to the Mooer ones but no name)

Web search "pedal toppers" and you find heaps of different ones.

Mine is the same it was last year, and still doesn't fit in one photo.

I have a master pedalboard that feeds everything, but since I can't reliably use my good foot on anything taller than a FS-5/6/7, it's up and off the floor and run by a thin MIDI controller with friendly buttons - an old ART X11.

The master board also has stuff under it in the crate and a DB11 4-pedal switcher after the board.

Not show: Boss HM-2, Source Audio Kingmaker.

And then it feeds into the rack of doom, which splits off to the multi-fx, actual Space Echo, and various amps in addition to the rack that feeds a tap from each unit into the 16 channel interface/board/triple amp setup.

The "master" board that feeds everything.

Rob for the win.

I've had a love/hate relationship with pedals all my life.

Sometimes I remember that I have a few seriously kick-ass amps that don't really need any pedals and put them all away (except maybe a Compressor) for a while.

I hear ya there RR, I only have two that stay on almost all the time. The Tumnus and Chorus. And a third the carbon copy is on most of the time. The others are just for a certain song or two.

And i have a few that aren't even on a board anymore.
