I'm lifting most of this from a post made by CM Taildragger because I couldn't have said it any better: (my apologies to Taildragger because time is of the essence and I don't have time to wait for permission to do so)

If you are a non-contributing participant in this forum and therefore don't frequent/post in Moe's, see the link below for further details.

Some of you who have never contributed a dime in support of this forum should step up if you value what this place has to offer.

Otherwise it may go away fairly soon. 

A relative few of us have been helping to pay the bills here over the years and would appreciate if those who have been riding for free would give us some help carrying the load.

Just as in a band, if too few people are doing their part, the music stops.
