I have a Keeley modded RAT and it's the bomb.
Curious which Keeley products you find indispensable? (and which versions)

Keeley BD-2 for going on 15 years

Contenders have come and gone but nothing has ever replaced it on my board for low gain.

I finally found another person with a Keeley modded RAT! Man, I love that thing. The mods really made it come alive, and gave it balls! Too bad they're not doing them any more. Even the company who took over doing their mods isn't doing the RAT.

Presently, I don't have any Keeley pedals, but I just heard a good friends new D & M Drive and it sounded outstanding ! Very versatile, well-built and excellent drive/boost sounds.

gdw3: Nice to know! FYI, I also own an early 80s version big box RAT (unmodded) that commands a lofty price on the used market. The Keeley sounds equally as good + it offers the other switchable modes. What a great pedal.

None. But I've always wanted one of his compressors or modded BD2 pedals. For some reason every time I was set to pull the trigger on a Keeley pedal, I'd stumble upon something else that I'd buy.

Oxblood Paisley- Great clean or slightly dirty boost.

Tesla MKIII - Sounds every bit as good (maybe better) as my Big Muff Green Russian and it's a lot smaller.

Phase 24 - I don't use Phasers often but this is a cool pedal 'cause it's the Star Trek Ltd. Ed.

Mesmer - Just for fun and some very unusual delay effects.

You need only one: the Keeley Tone Workstation.

Here's a random review.

That's a cool little unit. I have the Katana and always liked the way it enhanced my tone - I left it on all the time too. Using a Fractal AX8 lately - so all my pedals have been collecting dust :/

Any Keeley Compressor fans? 2 knob, 4 knob, Plus, Pro? I just received my new Compressor Plus yesterday and, while I have something of a love/hate history with compression, must say it's one of the better sounding units I've heard, plus the 'Blend' knob' makes it considerably more useful than most, imo.

What Peegoo said above. The Keeley Mod Workstation and some sort of delay is all you really need.

I got the Keely Seafoam Chorus pedal and it's the best of the several chorus units I've played over the years.
It has a very musical thickness. The reverb & vibroto functions in it are marginal but the 3 chorus settings are heavenly !!

Only Keeley I've had was an AD-9 but wasn't in love with it. It seemed to lower the signal significantly in the chain.

I own the Keeley two knob compressor and the Dyna-Trem. Both are very nice, but I rarely use them.
