but nothing happened!

Hi guys. I have a Gretsch 5422 Electromatic. Nice guitar but the volume pots are too touchy. For example, the master volume goes from 100% to 10% in about a 5 degree turn.
Does this mean it has a linear pot? If so, I guess I will try to install an audio pot. I hope I can do it without pulling out all the harness. Looks like I should be able to access thru the neck pickup hole. I may do the individual p/u pots if this goes well. Thanks for any advice.

It's orange and I have changed out the pickguard and pickup surrounds to gold just because. I've put in a Reverend Bigsby "soft spring" and like it better. I'm about to install a jack plate.

That doesn't sound like your problem. A linear pot will be *less* sensitive than a log pot when you're near 10 and *more* sensitive than a log pot when you're near 1.
