Yeah I have bought my last 3 amps from them. Great to do business with them.

64 here, and yes, my first Marshall.
I have a Code 50, but I am not counting that.

Discovering that my Marshall absolutely loves my 335 with the 57 classics and my 335 with the burstbuckers it magnifies the brightness of the bridge pickup even with the treble rolled off . Totally awesome in a band situation though. At home I just mix the pickups to dial away the brightness.

At half power this amp would bury my deluxe reverb in the mix I believe. I never cared for el84 amps which is why I never went after the dsl401 and the Haze40 had too many issues, but I think this is going to be a great amp for me.

PS it appears Sweetwater no longer has the 40c at 399. All I see is the 40cr at regular price. Thanks for the heads up leftee on a great deal.

They have one "B" stock DSL40C for $499. I am assuming it's a return?

Probably.

When I checked last night they still had at least one left at $399.

Cool, I knew if I waited long enough this so hard to pass up deal would finally go away! Lol. I just don't need another Marshall, the 2525C is a fantastic amp, still impressed every time I plug in.

Stick around the green channel and add a boost to it like the Xotic RC Booster and you're set. I'm not a fan of the red.

Congrats budg. I loving mine more each day.

Enjoy, they do seem to really like the 57 classics!

Deep havent tried the Xotic yet . Will put them on my list . Right now I have and use the TS9 and the Digitech CM2 for overdrives. Like both so far.

Foggy , Im glad its not just my ears . I love the sound of the 57s with my 335. It doesnt take much to push the amp into its sweet spot. Loving the Marshall tone the more I play it. Mostly stays on the half power setting for now.

I am loving mine, also. I am dialed into the green channel, with overdrive added to taste.
I really like the red channel as well, especially with the mids scooped. I doubt I will use it much, but it's nice to know it's there.

I have yet to play mine with pedals. I have put together a small pedal board specifically for the amp. I’ll snap a picture later.
