I do not know specifically the version or actual model number of the Mustang 150 Watt amp head but the 2x12 cabinet appears to have a blown speaker.

Make note to NEVER give a 14 and 16 year old a monster volume amp...I think they wanted to see if it would go to 12.

Anyway, I would like to simply find a "new or lightly used" OEM speaker, and then dump the amp for something slightly more practical.

I'm not aware of a 2x12 factory cab for the M V head, but the 4x12 is stuck with Celestion Rocket 50s.

Thanks Rev. It has been at least 6 months since I saw the amp...I will contact the nephew and see what he actually has. I know it is far more than he requires.

If it is in fact a 2x12, the 2x12 open back combo version of the Mustang V (same 150w ridiculous) are Celestion 70/80s.
