FDP Forum / Fender Amps: 1985 - Current / serial number location

Jun 10th, 2018 09:10 AM   Edit   Profile

I just ordered a new Fender 65 Princeton Rev amp from Sweetwater. I have read that the serial number is located on back of amp.....but I don't see anything that looks like a serial number. Does anyone have any pics of where the location is.

Thanks much,

Click the link below.

Select the thumbnail of the rear of the amp.

Serial number is below the fuse (CR-353496 in this example).

Congrats on that amp, that's the one I've been looking at. I want it, but need to pay my sweetwater bill down some!

That looks like a sticker in the photo.
Is it possible it has fallen off?

If you still have the box(es) it was shipped in, maybe check inside and see if it is in there.

Call your sales rep at Sweetwater and let them know there's a problem with registering the serial.

They can help you.

Anyone else notice the pics on that Sweetwater page are of two different amps?

Wouldn't the serial number be on the outside of the box the amp came in?
